Dadurch wir die Konsole kostensparend und ist jederzeit mit weiteren Modulen auf- bzw. umrüstbar. Durch die flexible Konfiguration ist somit eine hohe Zukunftssicherheit der Konsole garantiert. Der modulare Cat.5 KVM Switch bietet den Anschluss von bis zu 8 Servern über USB oder PS/2 sowie VGA per Cat.5 Adapter mit einer Reichweite von bis zu 60 m. Für den Betrieb wird die DIGITUS® 17" oder 19" modulare Konsole, Tastatur und der entsprechende Cat.5 Adapter benötigt. Die hochwertigen Cat.5 KVM-Switche Module mit IP-Funktion (optional) sind ideal für den Einsatz in kleinen bis mittelgroßen Server-Räumen, in denen ein Zugriff des Administrators jederzeit von jedem Ort gewährleistet werden muss. Sie bieten direkte Verbindung von einer lokalen Konsole oder mit dem optionalen IP Modul über eine bestehende Internet-Verbindung mit einerm Browser. Das Zubehör wird in den verschiedensten Varianten angeboten.
